The
FAI General Conference is FAI's supreme body and deals with
all FAI executive, legislative and financial matters. The
General Conference consists of delegates appointed by Active
and Associate Members, designated representatives of International
Affiliate Members, FAI elected Officers, Presidents of Honour,
Honorary Patrons of FAI, Companions of Honour, and Presidents
of Commissions and Committees or their duly appointed deputies.
The 2008 FAI General Conference was awarded to Saint-Vincent
in Aosta Valley - Italy. The proximity of the General Conference
to Turin will give delegates attending the General Conference
the opportunity to visit the site of the World
Air Games 2009 and
witness for themselves the preparations for the flagship
event of the FAI.
